I’m up in the red fir. I love this part of the world. High elevation, cool and quiet. That’s Shastina hiding beneath the clouds.

  I was back up there today. I could barely see Mt Shasta from the south with all the smoke in the air from the wildfires. When I got to the area east of the mountain, the air was crystal clear, so it was another perfect day.
