Moonrise was beautiful tonight. I took a picture of it. Then I turned around and took a picture of the sunset.

  So true, sometime we get a nice picture and sometimes we just enjoy it. I could see that one coming so I brought my camera when I took the dogs out for a walk. Mother Nature did all the work. I just pushed the button.

  It was a treat to be sure. On Monday I took pictures of the moon set that were really nice. Sadly, we couldn’t see the eclipse because of the weather. I’ll have to post some of those.

    I’ve been away from here a long time, sorry. We had clear weather for the eclipse, and were thrilled to find that we could watch it right from the driveway – no need to drive somewhere more open. I don’t have the set-up to photograph it but it was spectacular. The colors across the surface of the moon were very soft and subtle, not at all like the usual light on the craters.
