I’ve decide the name the painting “The Misery Whip.” I’m not done yet, but closing in. It is almost midnight so I’m packing it in for tonight. Here it is so far.
Fantastic, Tim. The texture on the bark looks so real and adds great depth to the painting. Absolutely amazing. I know you’re going to hate to part with this.
Really nice job, Tim. I love the red suspender for a little pop of color. … There must be an art to using a saw, because I tried to use a tree saw on a pretty healthy branch that came down during a storm this past summer, and I had a terrible time working that saw. I’m impressed with your subject’s abilities. 🙂
Really cool to watch progress… I love painting and art… Never get the time anymore!!! I wonder why? 🙂

Thanks Jill, it is kind of hard, but it is for a good cause. I knew it was leaving when I started it.

Thanks Maddie. Indeed there is an art to it and if you are inexperienced it lives up to it’s name.
