Pretty bird and lovely drawing! I wish we got more waterfowl here. Unfortunately, Big Bertha and her snapping turtle brethren take care of any young birds pretty quickly. Only the herons and Canada gees seem to be immune.

Yeeoow, we don’t have to worry about snapping turtles here. Most waterfowl come through here in the spring and fall. We do have wood ducks and moor hens around sometimes in the summer.
