Thank you Laura! I think the lightning rod is near the pond for better grounding. I believe it is tied to all the large metal mill buildings.

I wish we had a pond on our property…but we live fairly close to lakes and we see some nice waterfowl at various times of the year. We don’t usually take photos as nice as yours though! 🙂

I bet you could. We love our ponds. There our swimming pools. Although, they’re hard to float around on with goldens trying to climb on our inflatable rafts.
