We also have the goosefoot violet here and it too is yellow. I’ll have to keep an eye out for one. It is kind of funny to have a “yellow” violet.

What a lovely violet. I was drawn to the pointed petal. You have a great wildflower photo collection. One of my favorite nature walks was a guided wildflower tour with my brother-in-law when he worked for a park in Sanford, NC. You’re guiding us on a virtual tour. Thank you! What fun!

I don’t know what specific variety of yellow violet we have here, but I’ve seen a few around. Mostly we have the deep purple, light purple and white violets (I assume they’re all just color variants of a single species). So pretty!
