Happy Birthday Tasha!
Today is Tasha’s third birthday. We celebrated with some retrieves and photos in buttercups with her buds.
Happy Birthday Tasha!
In our area, the first showing of wildflowers happens around Tasha’s birthday.
Redtail’s Hotty Toddy Tasha – turns three years old today.
Sailor and Bliss join the birthday girl.

Beautiful pups. Love that dark coat!

We’ve always favored the field goldens. They tend to have darker coats.

They are a joy, but don’t let those furry faces fool you. They’re a bunch of characters capable of great mischief.

They put me in a good mood too. However, as I try to type an answer on my keyboard I have two fuzzy faces trying to rest their chins on my laptop. Hmmm…hard to type!

happy birthday to Tasha! gorgeous. I never knew there were ‘Field goldens’ til I saw your site, these… I like!! You having an early spring with all those flowers?

For years people that showed golden retrievers favored big, light colored, blocky headed goldens and bred for that look. Hunting goldens were, as originally developed were smaller, redder and often had shorter coats. We hunt with our dogs so we have always favored the hunting or field lines.
As for the wildflowers, they are really starting to bloom here. More pictures on Tuesday. The buttercups in the pictures are a sure sign of spring around here.

Have you seem the popular photo share of the twin girls and mom titled ‘who’s the mom’ (in this photo)?
This one made me think of that!
Such a beautiful bunch! Happy birthday!

I haven’t seen it. In this picture Tasha (right) is the mom and Sailor (middle) is the dad. But Bliss isn’t the daughter. I’ll have to post some puppy pics.
