Last night, on my way home from the woods, I was treated to a beautiful moonrise. The sunset wasn’t noteworthy, but the silhouetted trees were nice.
Early this morning, well before sunup, Kinta the puppy needed to go outside to “doo” his business. Blitz and I took him out for a moonlit walk. The moon through the thin clouds demanded that I get my camera.
Beautiful photographs and words of poetry 🙂

I see that the mega million lotto ticket was drawn last night. The prize was $648 million dollars. It was split between two winners. I didn’t buy a ticket, but it was worth it if you only win half. I mean, how far is $324 million going to go. Besides, after taxes the winner only gets $173 million. It’s not worth the effort to bother buying a ticket.

true that is no money beside what one need such money anyway? why they don’t split it and make more millionaires… mind you I know many more causes that could do with such figures. Never mind you concentrate in your art.. it will pay forget talking about silly money we don’t need it we have our art.

It is a beautiful day here in sunny California. Should reach the mid 60s F today. Actually, we could use some rain here. It has been a bit of a drought.

Still it all looks very green in your photos. I learnt to accept what we each get and smile and think it is beautiful. Have a good weekend I am sure we will survive another day..

Tim,
Everywhere I turned today, someone was mentioning the moon. Isn’t it great that even in the middle of the Christmas hustle and bustle, people are noticing nature’s beauty.

How funny. I just found that last night and this morning it was impossible to ignore. However, I agree with you that it is good to appreciate the beauty around us.

So I will add few words from Eastern Europe: here also the moon has been extremely beautiful yesterday, even the speaker in the radio noticed that in the morning. Children made a secret appointment to talk at midnight full moon
(but they slept over). Has there been any magic in the air?

It was magical in its beauty and the magical that we all share the same beautiful moon across the world. I love that.

I love when you photograph dogs straight on, their noses look so much bigger. :@p Ha!

“Mooning us”, I could have worked that into a title. I might have to borrow that some time. Kinta is funny even without the funny nose picture! 🙂
